Yes, both Mom's Deli and Cafe Magana have a used paperback book exchange. They are located on the south side of the Carretera in Riberas del Pilar, between Chapala and Ajijic. Mom's is right next door to the Maskaras Clinic and Magana is a bit to the west.

I'm sure that there are other places but none come to mind at the moment. There is, of course, a library on the grounds of the Lake Chapala Society on 16 de Septiembre in Ajijic. That requires a membership to the Society.

At the Wednesday tianguis in Ajijic, Anita's Animals always has lots of used English-language books for sale at very good prices. All the money goes to provide food and care for rescued animals. Great books, great cause, and of course she also takes donations of books to resell.
