on tuesday garcia garcia the cardiologist is doing an angioplasty on me . cost $30,000 pesos.[payment by cheque in can bucks]
this is to find out what's wrong with my ticker again.
i will keep informed on facebook and on my forum and not bore people on here. sometimes your parts just wear out-eh!
just thought i'd let you know what the cost is and i will be in and out the same day-maybe.

I am looking at the same procedure. Was quoted 150,000 pesos at a private hospital in Guadalajara. I went yesterday to Seguros Social at the hospital civil and signed up with my FM2 only, had a prelimary exam using my existing Stress ECOcardiogram as part of the process. Was told to come back Monday morning for an appointment with a cariologist. No mention of money yet.

holy smokes skier 14,that's huge for a procedure that is outpatient for less than one day. i'm going to private hospital for mine and that is what i was quoted. your heart shouldn't be messed with. garcia garcia has a good rep but i gonna see the results and make my own decisions. 68 ain't so bad. my father was 45 and uncle 50. difernt things whacked 'em. i might smoke again-jaja! i skated twice in guad. life has been good. what a lotta old folks ferget is that we is old and done maybe!-SNORK!

You got more time to ride and play hockey. Yes we all die someday but tuesday is not your day Pedro!!
Its not a bad procedure and if they find the problem and open it up you will feel better. STAY POSITIVE

Good luck with your procedure, Pedro.

On the 26th of September I had two drug-eluting stents put in my arteries which were 80% blocked. I stayed overnight for observation at Hospital Bernadette where the care was top notch. My cardiologist is Dr. Hector Briseno who comes to Lakeside on Thursdays. Very pleased with the results of this procedure and super-pleased with the doctor. Although I have IMSS I would have had to wait for who knows how long for this procedure.

i am out and glad my bill didn't go up from the 30k. that's a scary hospital when ya see a ferrari and maserati dealer right next to it. i made a mistake. it was an angiogram not plasty. they went in to figger out why the front of my heart muscle weren't working so good and started me on a new drug instead of the invasive stough. he went in through the groin just in case they were gonna go further.hospital puerto hierro.
