What are you doing on Christmas Day? Having friends over for Dinner? Spending a quiet Christmas? Dining out with friends?

In México, Christmas Eve is the big time, much more so than Christmas day.
In the afternoon of Christmas Eve, my English students are coming to my house and bringing pizza.
In the evening I'm going to eat tamales with my family and friends.
On Christmas day, I'm going to try to finish a couple of books I have going.

An American friend invited a few of us over. There will be roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, candied sweet potatoes, creamed onions, green bean casserole, potato rolls, bread dressing; cranberry sauce, 24-hour salad, possibly cheesecake, eggnog and pound cake.
(This will all be made possible by various guests contributing dishes.
Yo see, some of us missed Thanksgiving dinner, and we are catching up for Christmas.

By the way, just one technicality: we are not in Jalisco's Lake region, but instead, near Pátzcuaro.

¡Feliz Navidad!

Small dinner party at friends house tonight.....Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding! (I'm in charge of the latter....wish me luck.)

Then tomorrow, a large afternoon party that will transition to dinner, somehow. I have no idea since I'm not responsible for anything. It's my Christmas gift!

¡Feliz Navidad!

I've heard that Christmas dinner at Nuevo Posada is awesome! Enjoy.

Sure beats cookin' the turkey and doing the whole spread for a bunch of guests.

Happy Holidays to all here!

Dining out at Roberto's with friends. Was going to cook, but my bad back has been acting up and lugging a turkey around is more than I can handle right now.
