We have two weeks and we're arriving early afternoon on Halloween. What all could we squeeze in without getting tense? Any opinions on who would be the best person to see about renting horses, preferably gaited ones? I know they have them somewhere, we were walking down the beach one morning and a man on a mule (don't remember if it was gaited or not) and a boy on a small gaited mare came flying down the lakeshore. That little mare couldn't have been more than 14 hands but boy could she go. And smooth, all that little boy had to do was sit up there and smile. I know that Mexican saddles are rough on the backside, do we need to bring our English saddles?
