Many restaurants and bars at Lakeside are closed until the Swine Flu thing has dissipated thus improving greatly the quality of local commercially prepared cuisine. As in all things of this planet, almost every event has positive and negative consequences.

The Spanish expression for that is: "No hay mal que por bien no venga" or, every cloud has a silver lining. (There is no bad thing that doesn't bring some good.) I'll second the motion: we had to drive our very sick and uncomfortable dog to the vet today and getting through Ajijic was a relative breeze.
