Yesterday, for the first time in over a year, I walked to the end of the pier in Chapala. Amazingly, the lake is coming to say "hola" to Chapala. Although the water is not deep, the fact that it is up about three feet more than last year is a positive sign. My assumption is that this phenomenon is nature's gift and not something the lake administrators have done.
