Summer rains

Have the summer rains begun? One of the things I remember most about the rainy season were the alerts given by the "rainbirds" which is a misnomer since they look like a huge cockroach. It has been seven years since I spent a summer in Ajijic but I always thought the rainy season was the best time of the year.

It appears that the rainy season may have started but it has been an on/off sort of start. For current daily info, you may wish to check the following site:

Seems they have indeed. Now I need a dry day to fix a new leak. The way I can tell is that when there is no wind, no lightening, and I still have no electricity plus it's cold and wet, it's official - it's official. It just ain't normal to be this cool in June
