I'm referring to SMN (Servicio Meteorológico Nacional) records. Some data can be accessed via http://smn.cna.gob.mx/ but I'm not sure if historical data is available online. About 20 years ago, I collated all the available data for all Chapala area weather stations. (At that time the data were hard copy only and were held in an office in Guadalajara). The data for these weather stations was the basis for the values I give on Fig 7.1 in Geo-Mexico, the geography and dynamics of modern Mexico (on a graph also showing the level of Lake Chapala, 1920-2008) for the precipitation for different time periods (eg 1935-45, 1946-57, 1957- 1970, etc) showing just how variable precipitation has been in the area over the past 90 years. I'll see if I can find a copy of a short article I wrote about rainfall variability in the Chapala region ~ if I can find it, I'll post it somewhere and add a link from here later.
