So it's Sunday in Jocotepec and I'm two blocks east of the casa on Jose Santana when I look out the window & see these 2 puppies suckin' the last bit of sauce off a discarded taco plate. I hop out of the car, fully expecting them to scatter into the corn field, but NO! I get that " 'Bout time you showed up sucker-gringo" look with tails waggin at full speed. Not more than 5 weeks old, full of fleas & starving, I scoop them up & head for home. As of today, they are de-flead & de-wormed, eating like hogs & lovin' it at the Adams zoo. Our two other shelter-dogs, Ike & Tina, are teaching them the ropes, especially Ike who just loves playing with them. Our 4 cats are teaching them the proper respect for higher life forms. Based on there small feet, we think they will be rather small. They have a wide bull-dog stance and should make good house pets. They are available for adoption in a few weeks to good homes. See attached picture. "The trouble with life is there's no background music."
