Society news

On September 12th Teresa Kendrick, Mexconnect columnist and author of Mexico's Lake Chapala and Ajijic...and your own Uncle Donnie were wed in Dallas, Texas. The trip home was NOT a honeymoon, but that's planned for later in October in Mazatlan.

Shameless self-promotion:

HOT DAMN!!! (for all you non-Texans, the afore-mentioned term is not considered cursing, merely an expression of unbridled excitement). Congratulations, UD, and Teresa too, (I hope). :)

Now, just why........

......would a lovely, intelligent, talented woman like Teresa marry an unkept, unpredictable, unreliable, junk yard dog like yourself.

It just boggles the mind, don't it.

Marriage gets better after practice...most of us now understand that it is fruitless to try to change your partner's habits. Congrats to you both!

CONGRATS! Gosh, I almost feel like a member of the Ajijic family when I actually KNOW someone in the Society News "column."

I guess the next book will have joint authors...heh heh

And they say that it's almost impossible to find a nice guy nowadays. :)

Fantastic. You both are lucky people. Congratulations to Don and best wishes for Ms. T. Did the dogs get wed also or were they just the ring bearers :)
