ORCHIDS

If you love orchids as much as we do, you might enjoy seeing these on utube
These images were taken at the Orchid garden in Morelia Michoacan. Entrance fee
just 10 pesos. Worth every penny if you love flowers and especially orchids. If you're going to Morelia anytime soon, make this a must.

This music is fm Bolivia. It is being played by a Mexican trio. I bought 2 cassette's of their music several yrs ago at the entrance to Xcaret near Playa del Carmen in Quintana Roo. I'll dig them up & post the name of the group.

The trio is called Grupo Akary. The cassettes are Encuentros Vol II and Fokelore Andino Vol I. I can play & tell you the title of the particular piece if you like. Like you I enjoy endigenous music fm SA or anywhere in Latin American for that matter.

Thanks so much Smoke Silver - I just wanted to know who was playing as their music is good.

The orchid video is wonderful too. I just snagged a book on Mexican orchids on Ebay and am looking forward to actually getting my hands on it.
