Numismatic Stores?

Can't Post | Private Reply
Are there any numismatic stores in the Ajijic/Chapala area? If not, I assume that there is in Guad. If so, does anyone know where?

This currancy facinates me and I would like to see more of it and learn more about it.

Thanx, shoe

Shoe, as many know I have an advanced and seemingly incurable dose of CRS but I DO remember there's a nice silver and coin shop in the shopping center in front of Hospital Del Carmen. The one that has Wal-Mart. It's inside the main bldg. We bought a silver tray (by wt. rather than craftsmanship) and Miz T bought me a new 50 peso coin that I had made into a huge and gaudy necklace. The problem is that I can muster enough courage to wear it only on certain Italian beaches.

Ciao!

Thank you UD...

Now Bubba that is a nice new word and definition and maybe you should send it in to Webster to be included in their next edition of the dictionary. I am sure that they would be pleased to do it for you.

Now that I am down here I think I would like to meet you both some day and tip one or two sometime. Hope that happens. Might be interesting to talk some.

I'll send you my phone # when I get home week after next. I'm off the good stuff while I'm healing up but you can enjoy one and I'll have a fresh carrot juice.

Oh darlin', they'll juice anything for you down here. There are certain little places which serve nothing but fresh juice and fruit smoothies.

And the ACA folks grow and sell organic produce so you can juice your veggies at home. And the tianguis' will provide plenty of fresh fruit but unless you can verify that it is organically grown you need to disinfect it. Many of the commercial growers are now using spray-on pesticides.

Weanin' myself off street tacos is not something I'm looking forward to but luckily healthy and satisfying alternatives abound.

No comprendo. Since Bubba is a member of MexicoConnect (much to Rolly and David's reqret at having opened this forum to any nut case with some change in his pocket), Bubba can always be reached at bubba@mexconnect.com ( or something like that) unless Rolly has figured out a way to dissuade participants from talking to Bubba personally which might be a good idea since Bubba is such an exhibitionist that he would hate to limit his provocative chestnuts to a private audience if you get my drift.

Rolly:

Bubba was highly amused. Bubba married a woman from France because that was as close as he could get and not be in danger of marrying a cousin. Even then, he was concerned.
