Notary Public for USA Documentation

Can't Post | Private Reply
I just sold a home in the USA and need to have some documents notarized for the State of Alabama. I reviewed previous posts, but outdated and not sure what to do now. The instructions I have from the closing attorney states that several of the documents will need to be signed in the presence of a Notary Public. Is there a notary in this area? Do I have to go into Guadalajara? Any help would be appreciated.

There are definitely US notaries in the Lake Chapala area. Keep asking people and you'll find one. Ask local lawyers or bankers or real estate people and you'll find one.

You can contact Georgia on this Jalisco Chapala section, or the whole webboard, she is an attorney/notary for the US.

Search for her member name and then send her a message.
