as I drive around the area but the other day as I passed the municipal dump I burst out laughing. Just as the Vietnamese resisted France and the U.S., so too are the Mexicans resisting "gringoization". This is not a criticism of those who are laboring mightily to get that sucker built. Just the facts, ma'am. For those who haven't been by lately, the wall is still under construction, and when finished will block from passing motorist's view the piles of garbage dumped out there. However, the trash trucks are now driving up to the next level, the hillside nearest Ajijic to discharge their loads, thereby raising the visibility level of the fresh refuse far above what would logically be maximum wall height. Am I missing something? And "Daniel" is aggressively promoting his motel and restaurant which is located on the hill on the opposite side of the libremiento from the dump. As low as 150 pesos a night for a room. I intend to stop in for a cerveza and lunch so I'll let you know about the quality of both food and air. I love it down here!!! Shameless self-promotion: http://www.headformexico.com
