This is the view up my driveway. From the camera lense its about 150 meters to the Carr. (Mex 15) and another 250 meters or so to the start of the flames. the lower flames worry me a bit as there is a lot of plastic covering the raspberries as you can see in the lower part of the picture. I very much doubt if this is Non-toxic PVC plastic. The saving grace so far is that the airflow is off the lake and up the mountain. Not normal for evenng winds but probably caused by the heat of the fire drawing air in.

Give me a bit and I'll dig out the file and put it up for you. I'm a bit confused however as I can get to the thumbnail with the link provided and from there it opens just fine. Aren't computers a wonderful thing.

Problem solved. What was happening is that guests to the forum were allowed to see the posts but not any attachments. That was never the intent just an oversite on one simple check box in the setup.

I'm off to Jocotepec and wouldn't have time to downsize a pic at this time so why don't you just go back and have a look again. It will work now.

Good pictures Steve but is there anyway you can take them at night? The fire is easier to see at night.

Night? yes, thought about that and even considered getting up really early this morning, but what you see is what you get, cocktail hour at HN1 doesn't start until afternoon - ha.
