I'm still trying to get used to the format on this board (where all the replies appear in staggered lines).

As I searched for new threads I saw lots of "Historic Thread" and "For the fun of it" posts.

In other boards I subscribe to we have an OT (Off Topic) forum. This allows for chitchat and conversation not directly related to moving or living in Mexico. It appears that lots of retirees have plenty of time and like to digress. :)

It could have a special name such as Que Pasa? or Platicando or Schmoozing or just Off Topic Forum.

Is there any support for this idea?

Sounds like fun to me as I do love to digress. Others who frequent this forum would say I like to depress. There is another board in this area that started a "Free For All" weekend board that has turned out to be fun and often very humerous.
