Macrobiotics

Can't Post |
Does anyone in the area practice macrobiotics? I was afraid that changing over to healthier eating would eliminate my frequent visits to my favorite sidewalk eateries but it appears as though if I order bean and corn tortilla tacos, garnished with onions, cabbage, and cilantro with radishes on the side and a glass of horchata that I can stay within the dietary guidelines while being able to enjoy the ebb and flow of nighttime street activity and casual conversation and stay active in the local economy.

On a more practical level I'm also looking for advice and personal experiences. ACA has the organic greens and veggies (granola and soap, too) but does anyone have an area source of organic fruits. Neighbors are providing some at present but the variety is restricted.

And no more deep-fried charales swimming in lime juice!

Write me offline if you wish. Thanks for any assistance.

Jeeze......UD, if you've been eating those things, I'm astounded that you required any additional radiation treatments.

You might want to check with Arthur Jackson, the 90year young gentleman who knows a lot about these things. He can be found at Ajijic Plaza Suites.

I should probably buy his book too. He's obviously living proof that he knows what he's talking about.

Thanks for the tip.
