Love in Action (LIA) will hold the Second Annual Garden Party and Open House:

Sunday, March 20th from 4pm to 6pm

Meet the children and see their home!
Taco Buffet, entertainment and cash bar
Ticket price - 250 pesos
100% of ticket price goes to Love in Action

This is our last event of the season and again we want to thank you all for your wonderful support of the children and the LOVE IN ACTION CENTER.

On Sunday March 20th from 4 to 6 pm we are having our 2nd Annual Garden Party and Open House at the LOVE IN ACTION CENTER in Chapala.
At this venue, you will be able to meet the children and visit their home.

The price of each ticket is $250 pesos and includes a delicious taco buffet and entertainment. 100% of the sale of tickets goes directly to the center. There will also be a cash bar.

You may purchase your tickets from Diane Pearl, the LOVE IN ACTION CENTER in Chapala. Thank you for the continued support you have shown LOVE IN ACTION.

*Directions to Love in Action - If you are coming from Ajijic or Chapala, head toward Soriana on Madero. Pass through most of the town and make a right on Madero (small sign on a chain link fence) just before you get to the Pemex station. Go about two or three blocks until you see the heart with the Love in Action Shelter sign on the side of the building.

If you are coming via libramiento, as you ar passing Soriana, get in the left lane and make a left at the Pemex station. Go straight and make a right on Pepe Guizar. Go about three blocks and when you see a bright orange hardware store on the left - this is Los Patos street. Make a right here go two blocks and you will dead end into the LIA shelter.

A wonderful organization and so successful compared to other orphanages. Do not know why, but it is. I love dogs, but when it comes to a choice between kids and animals, I scratch my head in amazement for those that choose to support animals over humans. T

Thanks T,

I love dogs and have also rescued one. But I also sponsor a child at Love in Action - much easier than taking care of my dog! I go and read a story in one of the girls houses once a week and they are so thrilled for the attention. And most of them want to sit in my lap - not big enough for that yet:) The children seem happy and well adjusted but need attention and adult guidance.

Tis is a good time to have a taco meal, enjoy the grounds and the children.

Had to laugh. What is not big enough? Your lap or the kids? Guessing it is your lap as kids will clambor onto anyone that shows them love. Hope the event is a great success. T

Yes, the lap not yet big enough for 10 children at once. And these are 6 through 10 years old, not light weights! But they just have to take turns:)
