I received an email that Lakesidecrime.com is back in business - they will give it a 90 day trial to see if people report. My experience in living here for 12 years is that crime starts to increase at this time of year.
So everyone, check out the website - there were 3 new crimes last week alone. And encourage everyone you know who has had a crime committed against them to report it. And if they are too traumatized or unable to report it you can report it as a friend.
For me this information on crime statistics, grouped by community or area, so you can see where the problems are is very valuable in trying to protect yourself.
