I just returned from the special Pre-hispanic luncheon/dinner and I can say it is one of the best meals I have ever had!

RESTAURANTE Viva México (on Porfirio Diaz in San Juan Cosala 1 1/2 blocks west of the plaza) Until 8pm tonight!

Friday April 1 / 2011 Pre-Hispanic Menu
Welcome cocktail
- Pre-Hispanic chilcopil sauce with chinicuiles
- Rabbit tamale with mulli and huitlacoche
- Fresh Nopales salad, blackberries y tiny tomatoes with sauce of pears caramelized with tequila
- Raspberry ice cream with pulque
- Turkey covered with tequila honey & cactus fruit with 2 different types of beans sauce AND Marinated fish with chilpozontle sauce with corn cake
- Chocolate foam with crunchy corn and cocoa
250 pesos all inclusive

Sounds wonderful doesn't it? - It was!

Lucky you!!! I won't make it as I just got done spending two hours re-priming a pool filter at
A friends house in the sun. I am envious but tired wins out. :-(
