Hero?

Can't Post |
This is the way I heard it:
The older fellow is nearly blind and did not know he was in a non-smoking section, he was asked to leave. As the two men were leaving, the larger man in front leading the older (near blind) man, they were being verbally abused by the president. The younger man turned to tell him "shut-up we are leaving". An argument started, the president threw hot coffee on the young man. Then our "hero" grabbed the young man from behind, the young man turned, the "hero" slipped, landing face first on the walk.
Did anyone NOT involved see what really happened?

Isn't amazing how things get twisted. I got there 10 minutes after it happened. Gil is 70. He is about 5'8" The President of the LCS is a minister also about 70 and a passive individual. I talked to some 8 friends and acquaintances who witnessed what happened.

No one I talked to had a story anywhere like the one posted above. They all said the approximate same thing and they all confirmed the story that was posted. The perpetrator who is about 44 and 6'4" is not blind. If his friend was almost blind, and I saw no evidence thereof. Everyone said that the big younger guy came toward the Pres, and that when Gil tried to step in to separate the two, the younger man took a swing that hit Gil and knocked him to the ground.

The only area where there is a question, even with the Pres. who threw the coffee, is how he threw the drink on the perp. Most people say that the perp chest butted the Pres and then started to come after him and that the Pres threw his coffee on him to slow him down and that when Gil stepped in attempting to stop the perp, he then struck Gil instead of the LCS president

Mexican Police officials received statements from many witnesses confirming what happened. Whomever is spreading the rumor that Gil was not struck in the face and that he simply fell, is doing the truth a dis-service
