Hearing Aids???

I have a friend who needs a "digital" hearing aid. Here in the States the cost is US$2,000 - $2,500 for each one. I was wondering if you can get them cheaper in Mexico...How much?....and where would you go? Thanks. They plan to come down soon. Maybe this can get them down sooner.

There is a hearing aid man who comes to the Lake Chapala Society twice a week. He seems to be very good and I think very reasonable in pricing. Tomorrow he will be there and I will ask him about his price and let you know. Jerry

Hi David,

I finally got around to asking the hearing aid man who come to LCS about his prices. He said that for analog ones he charges 500 to 600 USD per ear. For digital. which he recommends, he charges 1,000. to 1,500. USD per ear. I think he is very knowledgable and gives good service.
