Sorry to hear that. We were out dancing with him and Joan just over a year ago...you'd never guess how old he was. His birthday was Jan 1st and they had a New Years/ birthday party for Earnie. I did murals in their poolhouse bathroom...a special one for Earnie of the lake...he had the only topless, blond windsurfer lakeside. During the party Earnie kept dragging different friends into the John to show them his "new view". He was a canterous old curmudgeon with a big heart. When we stayed in their casita he brought us coffee every morning and then he'd load the dogs in the car to go for their walk.
I'm sorry he's gone, as active as he was I really thought he'd see 100. I know how much you'll miss him Fred, you were a very good friend.
Here's to Earnie...a curmudgeon to the nth degree...and a good guy,
