El Chante construction

So, a question: on the north side of the carretera in El Chante, right around where the two topes are, they are clearing a lot of land. My maid, and everyone else, seems to think it is for a Pemex and an Oxxo. However, just to the east of where that is supposed to be, behind the muffler shop and some houses, is an equally large parcel that is being cleared and apparently prepared for construction. Does anyone have any idea what is going in there? My sleepy little El Chante is becoming a booming metropolis: First Rancho San Jorge,, now another 300+ unit development of apartments next door to that on the carretera. At least the village itself seems to have escaped the urbanization.

Far be it for me, to say, what is going on in your particular neighbourhood.

However even, as a virtual observer, your general area is 'targeted' with big development plans. Which keep getting larger, every time, a new piece of information comes into view.
