I am surprised that there is only one recommendation from this group of people that certainly have opinions. Lots of them. I too would like to find a good chiropractor. Is this the only guy around here?

At least you got ONE recommendation for a Chiropractor. I asked a few weeks ago about an Acupuncturist and got ZERO response. I would have been happy with at least one!

I too would like the name of a chiro or acupunturist. Surely someone out there uses them or knows of someone who does :)

I guess that I will post this. I did a search on chiropractor and found this old gil price post:

Helen:<p>It's my guess that the doctor you have heard of is Dr. Ricardo Heredia Granados. Dr Heredia has treated my wife for back and shoulder problems with great success. He is an MD with a specialty in trauma medicine, but he practices chiropractic medicine and acupuncture as well. His offices are at Flavio Romero #453, Chapala; Phone, 765-2233. He speaks excellent English, as does his receptionist.

It turns out aht I was also recommended to this same doctor by a person I met in a internet cafe three weeks ago by a guy who was going to him for some heart treatments (something to lower his cholesterol) plus some other things. He swore by him and had been going to him when ever he was down here from the states.

Hope this helps.

I am seriously thinking about going to him as he is an MD and looks like a jack of all trades. Sounds like he is pretty good at all of them.

I remember him! My husband went to hi m about 7 or 8 years ago for treatment of neuralgia from a severe shingles attack. He wasn't able to help him but I talked to people in his waiting room who swore by him, saying they sought help from doctors in the states who couldn't help and he did. I went to him for a jaw problem, I had difficulty opening and closing my mouth without pain (can't remember what it's called). It didn't feel any different after he treated me but by dinnertime that evening I wasn't having any trouble with it. I was told in the States I would have to undergo orthodontia for about 2 years.

I just recently found mex-connect in doing research about possibly moving to Mexico. I am a chiropractor and am not retired yet. I am presently seeking information as to whether I would be able to practice there. I know the requirements for licensing. I have been having trouble finding out about the number of chiropractors especially in the area you have been discussing. I would like to go to an area where there is a need. Any ideas? Am glad to hear , you might be potential patients. Sorry can't help with any chiropractors there-know a good one in the USA.

After one of the darlings of the Geritol Generation diagnosed me with typhoid (his shots were advertised at a "special" sale price) and some sort of internal problem requiring several weeks of regular visits to his lab to deliver containers of stuff to be analyzed I chose instead to consult Ricardo. He talked with me a few minutes, sent me to the lab across the street, gave me a script for parasites, and saved me days of being jerked around by a money grubber, as well as effecting a timely cure.

I've also had a couple of spinal adjustments in his office, as well as chelation therapy.

He's a bit more casual than your normal doc, and he has a sense of humor. I recommend him.

Shameless self-promotion:
