Birdwatching groups??

I've seen lots of groups/clubs etc. listed, but no Audubon/birdwatching groups. Surely there must be at least one????

I have an old Tory Peterson Mexican Birds book but believe Howell & ?? is pretty much the "bible" nowadays. It's kinda large for a field guide, though.

Would appreciate bird book recommendations as well. Thanks

At least one of the 2 of us IS interested in

"Birding in Mexico". While we were down exploring all over Michoacan and Jalisco, over 6 weeks beginning Oct. 2001, I did spot a notice in a free weekly ad 'n news paper (in Ajicic) of such an outing just as we were heading out of town. Ruefully, I never did get to meet any others.
