American Legion trip to Zaptlanejo Nov. 20th

The American Legion post in Chapala is sponsoring a shopping bus trip to
Zapoltalanejo and San Marco Plaza on Saturday, November 20. It costs
$220/person, and the bus leaves the Legion at 8:30 a.m. The trip goes to
Jalisco's main clothing and textile area in Zapoltlanejo and San Marco Plaza.
Lunch is paid for by you separately, but everyone goes to a recommended
restaurant, and it includes a free floor show with singers and dancers. The
shopping is supposed to be at bargain prices with merchants from all the
neighboring states. Featured items are blankets, sheets, other household goods,
plus cotton and clothing.

There were five people signed up as of yesterday afternoon. If there aren't at
least 10, the trip will not go. If interested, call Susannah Kelly at 765-3757
asap.

One could not make that up. Old veteran goobers buying jockey shorts and a T&A show.
