Ajijic Bed & Breakfast...

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hi all,

I am looking for a Bed & Breakfast or just a hotel would work also. Any suggestions? I am only going to be in the Lake Chapala area for 2 weeks this time. I should be there on or about the 30th of June. I was planning to stay at least two months but work got in the way. Guess the long visit will occur when I have more time & money.

Does anyone have any experience with Laguna Bed 'n Brunch? They have a really good special rate of $100 a week. However, if the place is bad the price is too much. :-)

You guys have been very helpful and I appreciate any responses.

Thanks,

Nothing at all wrong with the Laguna B&B - great location near shopping and restaurants, a couple of blocks to the beach and pier and to the Lake Chapala Society, your home away from home to meet and make friends. You're lucky you got in on their special, because usually they are full-up and you have to make plans elsewhere. There is a refrigerator for the use of the guests right by the sitting area where you meet and get to know your fellow guests. Nice for your soft drinks when you get back from sightseeing, or even for your wine and beer. No buffet getting stale, but your choice from a breakfast/brunch menu served when you want it - fresh fruit, omelets, you name it, you got it, at the time you want. A nice garden with tables and chairs to sit out and enjoy the sunshine.........or wander into the resl estate office and look at all the listings, read 'em and drool. My son stayed there recently, so this is first-hand knowledge....because we filled our house with a computer room, and storage room, and we just made sure that we have no room for guests and we don't have to deal with them, family or not ....hehe.......let them stay at the Laguna B&B or wherever they want.
