I don't know what the initials stand for, but AMSIF is a charity that helps the women of San Juan Cosala be trained to find employment and they also operate a cafe where the baked goods and other food like empanadas are sold. All to benefit the families of San Juan Cosala. It's a charity and all proceeds go to teach English, teach trades, or make local crafts and food items available for sale. All items for sale at AMSIF benefit the woman or women who made them.

AMSIF is located across from the town square and the Cafe Antigua is really worth the drive to either eat in or take out the baked goods - prices are reasonable.

The pig roast benefits this charity. Sorry for not explaining earlier.
