cadaverous flower at RBlanco, Veracruz

The largest flower in the world bloomed in RBlanco, Veracruz, Mexico last December. Called Amorphophallus titanum (Araceae) or the "cadaverous flower", it measures 2 meters in height (6.5') and weighs 75 kilos (165 lbs) and has the peculiarity of blooming for only three days every 40 years. Next show in 40 years.
