Dear Mexconnets:
¡Feliz Día del Huajolote! Don't go stuffing yourself with "totoles" to much on this Thanksgiving.
Fortunately I am going to celebrate Thanksgiving for the second time in 32 years of living in this wonderful Xalapa.
BTW, come on down you mountain bikers. I rode over to Coatepec today on the "carretera vieja" which was beautiful, the coffee plants loaded with green and red beans. It was so good to get out again, especially enjoying the laid back atmosphere of Coatepec and drinking a cup of fresh brewed coffee with Avelino who is a "catador de café"(coffee taster). Looks like I've got another article brewing!!!!

PLEASE keep up the articles on Veracruz! Just this past week, I was lamenting to my husband the fact that I didn't get to spend more time in Coatepec when we visited the area last summer...

I will be anxiously awaiting your article on Avelino and the art of coffee tasting. YUM
