In case you're interested, this year's festival "Cumbre Tajin 2005" will be held 18-26 March (as usual, it is scheduled over the Spring Equinox) in the "Thematic Park" adjacent to the archeological zone of El Tajin, in Papantla, Veracruz.

Thanks for the post! I was there for the light and sound show last year. It was fantastic and very well done in many ways. If you have the oportunity, difinitely go. It was not the site I remembered from 1978 when I took pictures of the Nichos pyramid to make a 3 X 4 meter photograph for the Hotel Tajin in Tuxpan. But the best thing about the evening spectacular was that it was "cool" temperature wise.

Suppose you know that the Hotel Tajin is no more? Hotel, that is. It was closed for a few years. Now the government has apparently purchased it and will be turning it into some strategic headquarters for the Navy (or so the reports say).
