Thanks so much for putting up my pix of Queretaro Dia de los Muertos taken last night. Again tonight, there was so much activity in Plaza de Arma we hardly knew where to turn. There were people on horseback, people in costume on stilts, an entire orchestra? of guitar player-singers enchanting us with romantic Mexican music - something about de corazon.... There were a few children in costume as we entered the Governor's Mansion where a small church had been set up with a beautifully decorated altar honoring Mary. There is nothing to me like an autumn night walking in the chill air. What an enchanting country. Elsewhere in these posts, someone asks where to spend a week if they had only a week in Mexico, why, Queretaro, of course!
