Recently I was diagnosed with ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura). This is a clinical situation where the immune system attacks one's own platelets.
This ,of course, has put a damper on my early retirement plans as Medicare will not cover any medical expenses before 66 years of age.
I would like to know of any good haematologist in the Guadalajara area. I will be investigating the medical expenses and availability of medications related to this disease.
If anyone has any information on this subject please let me know.
