hello, would like to rent a house in PV for 1-2 weeks in late 2007 or early 2008, sleep 6 - ability to walk to downtown.--
suggestions for good rental companies, links would be apprecaited (as comparison, in San Miguel de Allende, used Casa Elegantes for our first house rental and were very satisfied with both location and house quality)

Try http://www.vrbo.com. There are always many, many listings for Puerto Vallarta.

Take a look at these houses. We have stayed in both of them and know the owners well now.
