can one sell a 5th wheel from Canada

what is required to sell a 5th wheel trailer that came into Mexico
one year ago. Party wants to sell due to financial needs and has
over stayed their tourist visa. Suggestions and comments greatly
appreciated.

I bought one on a 10 year permit but only to park on my lot. I'd think it would depend on traveling with it or living in it

It is illegal for the other party to sell that unit and illegal for you to buy it!! I would not buy a trailer under those circumstances. Could cause you endless problems.

They give RV'ers 10 year permits as they cross the border is about all I know. I assume so they don't have to be towed back and forth. The tow vehicle permits must be different and length depends on your visa.

Don't know how you'd ever get the title, get the old permit removed properly ... and then the drive up and back. I would only do it to be placed on a piece of property and off the road.
