Hi: My plans for a fact finding visit to Mexico have moved up a bit becuase I have been offered an apartment in Guadalajara if I cat sit from the May 10th-25th. I have enrolled in an intensive course in "survival Spanish" (mornings) at IMAC my first week, May 14-18. Would welcome any opportunity to meet for coffee or a drink and chat with anyone living there re cost and style of living--especially in el Centro and the pros and cons of living in Gudalajara. During the second week, I hope to visit the Lake Chapala area and any other possible places to settle that can be done in a day return bus trip. Again suggestions are welcome! If anyone is into ballroom dancing, salsa, or Argentine Tango and could recommend places where a single middle aged woman wouldn't be out of place, I'd love to hear about that too!
I plan to head for Morellia on the 25th, then Guanajuato, finally San Miguel, before flying home on the 7th. Again any suggestions, contacts, etc. would be much welcomed!
