Trip to Jalisco

We leave Sept 24 and arrive in PV only to bus out overnite to Guadalajara. We plan to visit Sayula, Tapalpa and Mazamitla on this trip. If anyone has any info on must-see places in the areas please let me know. We already plan to meet up with Don and Carmen of Sayula. Looking forward to seeing these areas and hope to find our Shangri La. If this is not the place then we will continue to explore other states and areas.
This forum has been a big help. Thanks for all the info.

Have a wonderful trip - you couldn't have better guides to Sayula than Don and Carmen.

On a personal level, I would chose Sayula over the other two. We enjoy Tapalpa but it would be cool for me in the winter. Mazamitla has never done anything for us, I can't explain why, but Tapalpa is much nicer in our book.

Maybe add Ciudad Guzman to the mixture? Your Sayula guides can make suggestions there.

I think you are right about Cd. Guzman....we will definitely hit there, too.
