Thanks for all of the suggestions about beaches in that area. We'll be looking at several, so your suggestions are much appreciated. And the description of Maruata as a "hippie hang out" - I know what you mean - that characterizes a number of beaches I've been to. We'd like to stay in the area a couple of days, so we'll have some time to explore.
I also want to explore the Manzanillo area, so thanks for that tip.
