Here is some of the damage to Colima (city) - 70% of our bridges are damaged and we have lost 4 completely... going to be tough getting around for awhile.

We suffered no damage or flooding. However, houses anywhere near the canal and some lower lying areas, got anywhere from 1 ft - 4 ft of water. We looked at several of them after the water receded, not a pretty sight. Clean up is in progress and is happening fast. Power, phone/internet were restored in most areas within less than 24 hours.

it looks to me like the storm did to Barra de Navidad what building codes or federal zone regulations can't. sad about the loss but mother nature can be friend or foe. it's best to give storm tides wide berth.
