Are there any good moderately priced restaurants left in PV? If so, any recommendations? Are there any restaurants on the Rio Cuale that are not upscale and updollar?

El Repollo Rojo (The Red Cabbage) continues to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants in all of Mexico and the prices are very reasonable for the level of cuisine (alta Mexicana).

Joe Jack's Fish Shack on Restaurant Row (Basilio Badillo) was a new find on my last trip there. I was very impressed with the authentic fish 'n chips and the ceviche. Prices are downright inexpensive.

Barcelona Tapas in el Centro is great for the food and the view. Prices are definitely in the "moderate" category.

It's basically at the back end of the Zona Romantica where Basilio Badillo crosses the river. The physical address is Calle Rivera del Río 204A. On this map, it's #17:

Here's a review from Frommer's about it. If you're going on a Thurs-Sat during the high season, I highly recommend reservations, as the restaurant is small.

I really like Cafe Bohemio on Rudolfo Gomez, excellent food at moderate prices. With drink, yo should be outof there for 150 pesos or so.
Tony's Please on Lazaro Cardenas 446 is also reasonably priced and good.
There are others as well, those are the first 2 I thought of.
