INAMI office in Guadalajara/interpreter?

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hola Amigos!
Can anyone tell me the address of the INAMI office in Guadalajara? I have a newly issued FM3 (Visitante-Rentista) from NoB. I need to have it registered (or whatever they do with it ?) .
Also, will I need an interpreter for this action? My Spanish is very simple (un poco) and if they start asking me questions, I'm almost certainly not going to understand them.
I'm thinking of having my taxi driver come in to the office with me or someone recommended by the concierge of my Guadalajara hotel (probablemente el Hotel Morales).
Any thoughts?
Gracias,
Sox.

The address is:

Instituto Nacional de Migración (INAMI)
Palacio Federal, 4th floor
Av. Alcalde 500, Col. Centro
Guadalajara, Jalisco

Whenever I have been there, there was always an employee working that spoke some English, but if it would make you feel more comfortable, take an interpreter with you.

Hi Don:
Thanks for the quick and informative reply. Based on your comments, I think I'll try it on my own and if I run into problems go back another day with an interpreter.

BTW: I've been to your Saluda site and thought it was great! Nice pics and informative.
Sox.
