Hotel near norte bus station

I made a reservation at the Hotel Brasilia because it's close to the bus station and we want to get to San Miguel early in the AM. Anybody familiar with this hotel? There was a nice Trip Advisor review in 2008 but nothing since. Also, is the neighborhood around the bus station ok? It's been a number of years since I spent any time in Mexico City.

It is fine and very convenient. I would suggest purchasing your bus ticket the night before. If your bags have wheels, you can easily pull them two short blocks between the hotel and the bus station. The restaurant is decent for a substantial breakfast before your departure. As far as safety is concerned, be sure to look both ways before crossing the street as motorists in the area don't show a lot of courtesy. The Brasilia is an old standby.
