Help me find my friend

Can't Post | Private Reply
When I lived in Florida, I had a neighbor named Amalia Kundert, her maiden name is Rodriguez. She and her husband, Fredy Kundert, moved back to Guadalajara and I moved to another state. I've lost her address and would like to have contact with her again. Do you know her? Can you tell her that I'm looking for her? Thank you.

Guadalajara is a huge metropolitan area and the Rodriguez name is very common. A needle in a haystack might be easier. I would suggest you provide some more details, a photo if possible, etc. to help you narrow it down. What you asked for would be the equivalent of saying In met a nice guy named Alex Smith in Puerta Vallarta and I heard he is living in the LA area now and would like some help to find him...

Not trying to give you a hard time but just think that it would be a lot easier with more info...

Good luck!

Also, are there any white page telephone listings for Guadalajara? I doubt if "Kundert" is a common name there.

I'm always curious when people post these "looking for friends" threads why everyone assumes it is really someone looking for a friend and helps the poster out. How do we know it isn't a stalker who had lost his prey or some other ne'er do well? There could be a good reason the sought after person is hard to find and maybe doesn't want to be found.

The formal policy for Mexconnect staff and informal expectation of those posting on these forums, is that the "found" person if they are or might be the subject of the search, is informed of the searchers' desire to make contact and the choice to actually make contact or not is up to the findee. The searcher should not be given the final data that would enable actual location.

That's the way it should work. Sometimes it doesn't,

The poster is correct in that often a lost person does not want to be found and the choice should be theirs and theirs alone. Criminal search is different, and I doubt that these forums have ever been used to assist in that type of search.
