i found an incredible website (in spanish) that lists all the various things going on around gdl... nascar corona series at the end of the month (example) plays/ ballet/ etc.

Thats is a nice site with good information. You can also check out http://www.vivirguadalajara.com/ Its a "metroblog" and has a lot of information on events in the area.

(I did not know the band KISS was still around but it seems they are and they will be in concert AUG 2 in GDL)

Because I know there are a ton of KISS fans in the Greater GDL area that we don't want to mislead (nor try to send them back in time!), I think you meant to say OCT. 2nd. :>)

If you guys want to go to Mexico City for a concert and the go back to GDL you can contact those guys www.ontourviajes.com they speak English ;)
