Driving instructions (maps?) from Nogales

Hi,

Will be leaving California next week to drive down and crossing the border at Nogales to Chapala. No AAA there. Any web sites to give me help? I know the general route, however more complete driving instructions or maps would be great. Thanks again.

Go online and quickly order for yourself a Guia Roji (yes, that is the correct spelling) map of Mexico. They are excellent in a country where road signs are suggestions at best and routes are not routinely marked with their number, nor are all streets identified with a street sign.

Click the link below for complete driving instructions as far as Navojoa on the highway south from Nogales, including border crossing, car permit, customs, traffic lights and locations of all topes:

Highway driving guide to Alamos, Sonora, Mexico from Tucson, AZ, USA

Of course, you don't have to stop in Alamos, so you can skip the last part of the instructions. Once beyond Navojoa on Hwy 15, it's pretty straightforward.
