Hi,
How much would one have to make to live comfortable in GDL? Looking at a rental in the 6000 peso range. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

There are waaaaay to many variables and too many definitions of 'comfortable' to give you much assistance with this question. If you care to describe what 'life style' you are wanting maybe someone could give you a reasonable answer.

I hope this helps. I am a single male that will be living alone. I live a laid back lifestyle not much into the party seen. I am looking at a position and want to make sure the offer is enough to support the average bills for a 2 bedroom apartment. Looking at places in the 6000 peso range. Any idea on cost of bills or monthly cost would help.

$6,000 Rent
600 Telephone with internet
300 LPG gas for cooking and hot water
2,000 Groceries if you take most meals at home
$8,900 Basics

? Car or other transportation
? Entertainment and eating out
? Laundry and dry cleaning
? Personal and sundries

One thing Rolly left out is electricity..... depending on use, $250 MP/mo.

Other things to consider: any health issues that won't be covered by job; any travel; car insurance if car.
