hello i just discovered the forum and am trying it for a week. i wonder if anyone has a suggestion about getting information on teaching sculpture/painting at one of the art schools in sma? thankyou d.

Belles Artes ("El Nigromante") is at Calle Hernandez Macia #75, phone 152-0289. I heard they have a web page now but I don't know the URL.

Instituto Allende is at Ancha de San Antonio #20, email iallende@instituto-allende.edu.mx, web page http://www.instituto-allende.edu.mx, and it is incorporated with the University of Guanajuato.

To call from the U.S. start the number with 011 52 415. To complete either address add San Miguel de Allende, GTO, Mexico, 37700.

I'll reply privately with some impressions of the scene that may or may not be accurate, they're just what I hear.
