schools for children

Hola amigos. I'm considering San Miguel or Queretero as a retirement option, but I need to know about schools since I have a 3-year-old. I know there are schools in Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta for foreigners, but I can't find any in the San Miguel area. Any ideas? Bill Douthat, West Palm Beach, Fl

Two of the schools which have a lot of gringo childen are the Waldorf school, Colegio Los Acharcos, and another private one run by Jose Vasconcelos for pre-school through grade nine.

You can e-mail each of them and find out more info. Colegio los Charcos is at loscharcos@hotmail.com. The other is at escjosev@prodigy.net.mx. Hope this helps,
