What are options to traveling to Queretaro from M.C.. I know that a bus is available.Which is best service, comfort? What about air travelto Queratero? Looking for good hotel with pool close to central.Will be coming from Chicago but want Mexicana not through Houston.

What does M C stand for? Do you mean DF ?

The best line from Mexico is ETN but they are many lines that are good and it is a short trip.

Mexico City maybe? Maybe similar to all those that use Guad instead of Guadalajara?

One very simple way is to fly to Mexico City, and use the bus station at the Mexico City airport, which has nonstop first class or better buses to Queretero, about one per hour. We have done that. No taxi needed in Mexico City, very cost effective and convenient.

Flights to Mexico City will be more frequent and cheaper than flights to Queretero, I would bet.
